Human Rights Interactive Network is a California nonprofit organization dedicated to insuring respect for human rights worldwide. HRIN maintains the Internet Guide to Human Rights, Globalization and Humanitarian Relief and the Association of Humanitarian Lawyers website. AHL currently funds the costs of these free, public-interest pages.

Your tax-deductible contribution allows the association to represent victims of war and advocate for better enforcement of human rights laws worldwide. Karen Parker, the group's president, has been practicing (mostly pro-bono) for over twenty years, assisting indigenous groups, NGO's and U.N. special investigators with the help of many other attorneys, law school interns and volunteers.

The objective of these websites is to provide introductory information about human rights and its related areas, including international development, disaster relief, consumer awareness, socially responsible investing and international law. You'll also find a comprehensive listing to organizations, government agencies and academic institutions throughout the world. Internships, travel and employment opportunities are listed on the Work/Travel page.
